  1. Three people have been left seriously injured after a car reportedly crashed into several pedestrians in Leicester city centre today. The emergency services were called out to the collision in De Montfort Street in Leicester city centre at about 12.30am. (Saturday, May 31) The police believe the incident happened following a report of a fight. Four people - two men and two women - were injured in the collision and taken to hospital. Three of them sustained serious injuries, while one man suffered minor injuries. A 31-year-old Leicester man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and causing severe injury by dangerous driving.
